Pet Apparel Size Guide

A comfortable fit starts with three measurements. Use a soft tape while your pet is standing naturally. Check each product's own size chart before ordering because garment cuts and stretch can vary.

Neck

Measure around the base of the neck where a collar normally sits. Leave room for comfortable movement and do not pull the tape tight.

Chest

Measure around the widest part of the rib cage, usually just behind the front legs. For most apparel, chest fit is the most important measurement.

Back length

Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Keep the tape level along the spine without following every curve.

Fit notes

• Use the product-specific size chart and fit notes as the final guide.
• Consider whether the style is fitted, padded or designed to layer.
• Check that leg openings and fasteners allow free movement.
• Measure again if your pet has a thick coat or will wear a layer underneath.
